Kentucky High School Basketball - Johnson Central victorious over Boyd County

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Johnson Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 68-60 triumph over the Boyd County Lions.

The Golden Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Lawrence County topped Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY), 68-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Boyd County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
