The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Calverton (Huntingtown, MD) and the visiting Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions (Washington, DC), observed Calverton's basketball team overwhelm Washington Latin Public Charter School by a score of 49-20.
The (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD). The Mustangs come into the Maryland Independent challenge with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Lions encounter the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Washington Latin Public Charter School will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
