The Clovis Cougars basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Downey Knights to 15 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to San Ramon Valley for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Clovis will play a Wolves team coming off a 53-36 non-league win over Miramonte (Orinda, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Downey falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Merced (Merced, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Bears go into the game with a record of 1-3. Merced won 39-25 in their recent non-league game against Oakdale (Oakdale, CA)
