Arizona High School Basketball - Sierra Vista holds off Coconino

The Sierra Vista Mountain Lions basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Coconino Panthers to 58 in the Mountain Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mountain Lions now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Doral Academy Red Rock for a 4A Mountain game on Monday, December 9. Sierra Vista will confront a Dragons team coming off a 58-15 non-league loss to Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV). The Dragons record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Coconino falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ) to confront the Skyhawks in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Skyhawks go into the game with a record of 3-4. Deer Valley lost 64-22 in their recent non-league game against Prescott (Prescott, AZ)
