The Diboll Lumberjacks basketball team scored 36 points and limited the host Zavalla Eagles to 16 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Pollok Central for a 3A Region III District 21 game on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, Zavalla falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, December 10. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-6. Apple Springs lost 53-8 in their recent non-league game against Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX)
