The Hannibal Pirates basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Fort Zumwalt East Lions to 54 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fulton for a North Central Missouri game on Tuesday, December 10. Hannibal will confront a Hornets team coming off a 35-27 non-league loss to New Haven (New Haven, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Fort Zumwalt East falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 2-1. Fort Zumwalt West lost 38-35 in their recent non-league game against Ursuline Academy (St. Louis, MO)
