Next, the Indians encounter the Normangee Panthers (Normangee, TX) in a 2A Region III District 20 test, on Tuesday, December 10. Groveton will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 4-6 record after their 37-36 non-league win over Hempstead (Hempstead, TX).

The Bobcats (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Waskom (Waskom, TX). The Wildcats come into the 2A Region III District 23 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Waskom was routed by Laneville (Laneville, TX), 30-22, in a non-league test.
