Virginia High School Basketball - Steward held off by L.C. Bird

In Saturday's non-league test, the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) basketball squad got by the host Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA), by a score of 42-39.

Next, the Skyhawks encounter the Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs (Richmond, VA) in a Dominion test, on Tuesday, December 10. L.C. Bird will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 60-4 league loss to Huguenot (Richmond, VA).

The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Collegiate (Richmond, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Collegiate was nipped by Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA), 64-28, in a non-league test.
