The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mandan Braves (Mandan, ND) and the visiting Shanley Deacons (Fargo, ND), observed Mandan's basketball team overwhelm Shanley by a margin of 74-51.

The Braves (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bismarck (Bismarck, ND). The Demons come into the AA West challenge with a 2-0 record.

In their next game, the Deacons battle the Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND) in a AA East challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Shanley will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 61-47 non-league loss to St. Mary's Central (Bismarck, ND).
