Illinois High School Basketball - Morton nudges Manual

December 7, 2024: Peoria, IL 61605

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) and the host Manual Rams (Peoria, IL), observed Morton's basketball team edge Manual by a score of 51-47.

The Potters (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds come into the Mid-Illini challenge with a 4-5 record.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL) in a Big Twelve challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Manual will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 59-15 non-league loss to Glenwood (Chatham, IL).
