In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. John XXIII Lions basketball team scored a good 52-34 triumph over the Pasadena Eagles.
The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Crosby (Crosby, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Crosby was topped by Fort Bend Christian Academy (Sugar Land, TX), 44-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Splendora Wildcats (Splendora, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Pasadena will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 34-23 non-league win over Caney Creek (Conroe, TX).
