In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Sheridan Spartans basketball team scored a big 67-28 win over the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Delphian (Sheridan, OR). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Delphian was trounced by Regis (Stayton, OR), 47-6, in a league contest.
