North Carolina High School Basketball - Tidewater Academy trounced by Ridgecroft

December 7, 2024: Ahoskie, NC 27910

Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Tidewater Academy Warriors (Wakefield, VA), 66-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Ridgecroft advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Rams travel to Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Monday, December 9. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 4-3. Halifax Academy won 43-39 in their recent league match against Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC)

The Warriors now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brunswick Academy for a VISAA Division III match on Tuesday, December 10. Tidewater Academy will face a Vikings squad coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-2.
