In Saturday's non-league test, the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) basketball squad knocked off the host Varsity Opponent (, ), by a score of 45-25.

Next, the Greyhounds encounter the Harmony School of Excellence Hawks (Laredo, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 7. Taft will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record.
