Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Carter Lions (Rialto, CA), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Newport Harbor advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to La Habra (La Habra, CA) to clash with the Highlanders in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 10. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 4-0. La Habra won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Gahr (Cerritos, CA)

The Lions now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norco for a non-league test on Friday, December 13.
