In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting The Nueva School Mavericks soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Gonzales Spartans.
The Mavericks (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Prospect got by Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Spartans play the Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 10. Gonzales will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Prospect (Saratoga, CA).
