The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) and the visiting Huron River Rats (Ann Arbor, MI), witnessed Freeland's ice hockey team defeat Huron by a score of 5-2.

The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Garber got by Huron (Ann Arbor, MI), 8-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the River Rats battle the Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI) in a Michigan Metro challenge, on Wednesday, December 11. Huron will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI).
