The South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA) basketball toppled the visiting Antelope Valley Antelopes (Lancaster, CA), 46-28 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Garces Memorial for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. South will play a Rams team coming off a 30-16 non-league loss to Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Antelope Valley falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Antelopes travel to Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, December 9. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Hesperia Christian lost 42-29 in their recent non-league bout against The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA)
