The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), observed Monticello's basketball team overwhelm Broadway by a score of 51-16.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Potomac Falls trounced Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA), 60-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Gobblers encounter the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. Broadway will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Flames come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 60-25 league win over Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA).
