The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) and the host Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC), observed East Lincoln's basketball team knock off Lincolnton by a score of 47-38.
The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, East Gaston was knocked off by North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 61-31, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Lincolnton will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
