Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Thacher Toads (Ojai, CA), 7-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Rio Mesa moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Pacifica (Oxnard, CA) to clash with the Tritons in a Channel test on Tuesday, December 10. The Tritons come into the test with a record of 5-0. Pacifica won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Salesian (Los Angeles, CA)

The Toads now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Diego for a Tri-Valley test on Thursday, December 12.
