High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent can't hold off Miller School of Albemarle

The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks nudged the host Varsity Opponent basketball team by a margin of 62-59 in Sunday's non-league game.

The Mavericks now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anne's-Belfield for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Miller School of Albemarle will confront a Saints team coming off a 72-56 non-league win over Ballou (Washington, DC). The Saints record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Varsity Opponent falls to 91-451 on the campaign. The travel to George School (Newtown, PA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league outing on Sunday, December 7. The Cougars enter the outing with a record of 0-1. George School lost 61-50 in their recent non-league outing against Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA)
