Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lynnwood Royals (Bothell, WA), 69-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sultan upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Turks travel to Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA) to clash with the Tigers in a 1A Emerald Sound bout on Friday, December 10. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 0-2. Granite Falls lost 53-48 in their recent league game against South Whidbey (Langley, WA)
With the defeat, Lynnwood moves to 0-2 on the year. The Royals travel to Stanwood (Stanwood, WA) to face the Spartans in a 2A/3A Wesco game on Friday, December 10. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 1-1. Stanwood lost 66-54 in their recent non-league game against Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA)
