    • Ohio High School Basketball - Salem over Boardman

    Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Salem Quakers (Salem, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Salem's basketball squad overcome Boardman by a tally of 31-16.

    With the victory, Salem improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Quakers host Marlington (Alliance, OH) to confront the Dukes in a Eastern Buckeye challenge on Saturday, December 11. The Dukes come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Marlington won 62-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Howland (Warren, OH)

    Next up, the Spartans confront the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars (Cleveland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 11. Boardman will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 51-31 non-league win over Hathaway Brown (Shaker Heights, OH).
