The Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Aitkin Gobblers to 37 in the Rebels league triumph on Thursday.

The Rebels now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cook County for a A Section 7 contest on Friday, December 16. Moose Lake/Willow River will meet a Vikings team coming off a 93-21 non-league loss to Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

The Gobblers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Foley (Foley, MN). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Foley triumphed over Kimball (Kimball, MN), 75-58, in a league contest.
