The Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD), 49-31 in Friday's league test.
The Cubs (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Menno (Menno, SD). The Wolves go into the B Region 4 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Menno went down by Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD), 56-32, in a non-league test.
