Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN), 105-93 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Burnsville upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Blaze travel to Two Rivers (Two Rivers, WI) to play the Purple Raiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Purple Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Coon Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 53-51 non-league win over Rosemount (Rosemount, MN).
