The Carlson Marauders basketball team (Gibraltar, MI), was nudged 53-47 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI)
The Red Devils now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richard for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. Grosse Ile will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 57-38 non-league win over Trenton (Trenton, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.
The Marauders (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI). The Thunderbirds come into the Downriver battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Edsel Ford edged Garden City (Garden City, MI), 69-52, in a non-league battle.
