Arizona High School Basketball - Verrado thwarts Copper Canyon

The Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) basketball knocked off the visiting Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ), 65-46 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Vipers (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Greenway (Phoenix, AZ). The Demons go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Greenway was topped by Cactus (Glendale, AZ), 78-23, in a non-league outing.

The Aztecs now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Browne for a non-league outing on Monday, December 12. Copper Canyon will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 65-36 non-league loss to Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Bruins record now stands at 3-5.
