Florida High School Basketball - Cypress Creek can't hold off River Ridge

December 8, 2022: New Port Richey, FL 34654

The River Ridge Royal Knights basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Cypress Creek Coyotes to 73 in the Royal Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Royal Knights now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wesley Chapel for a 5A District 6 contest on Tuesday, December 13. River Ridge will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 85-62 non-league win over Patel (Tampa, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.

The Coyotes (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hernando (Brooksville, FL). The Leopards enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Hernando nudged Gulf (New Port Richey, FL), 82-68, in a non-league contest.

River Ridge

Congratulations to #1 Brandon Behar for being selected the River Ridge Basketball Player of the Game.
