DCP Alum Rock Lobos (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions (San Jose, CA), 60-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, DCP Alum Rock upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Lobos host KIPP Navigate College Prep (San Jose, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. KIPP Navigate College Prep lost 57-21 in their recent non-league bout against Mid-Peninsula (Menlo Park, CA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Luis Valdez Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Acorns go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 54-51 non-league loss to Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).
