Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) and the host Kelly Walsh Trojans (Casper, WY), saw East's basketball squad knock off Kelly Walsh by a count of 71-61.

With the victory, East upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Evanston (Evanston, WY) to play the Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Evanston lost 44-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Natrona County (Casper, WY)

Next up, the Trojans play the Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Kelly Walsh will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 80-68 non-league win over Green River (Green River, WY).
