The Edmeston Central Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Sharon Springs Central Spartans to 41 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Plain for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Edmeston Central will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 57-55 league loss to Middleburgh (Middleburgh, NY). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-3.
The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Middleburgh (Middleburgh, NY). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Middleburgh prevailed over Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY), 57-55, in a league contest.
