Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Glenmora Wildcats (Glenmora, LA), 85-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hicks upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host Rosepine (Rosepine, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Rosepine lost 55-54 in their recent non-league bout against Leesville (Leesville, LA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Glenmora will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 96-56 non-league win over Dodson (Dodson, LA).
