The Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) basketball crushed the visiting GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA), 94-50 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Braves (3-1) will now prepare for their test against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears go into the South Iowa Cedar test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, B-G-M was trounced by North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA), 77-44, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to BCLUW for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. GMG will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 86-54 non-league loss to Baxter (Baxter, IA). The Comets record now stands at 0-2.
