The Waldron Spartans basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Jackson Christian Royals to 33 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Waldron will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-24 non-league win over Camden-Frontier (Camden, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

The Royals (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston Christian (Pinckney, MI). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Livingston Christian ran past CHASE (Flint, MI), 74-22, in a non-league contest.
