The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team (Kenyon, MN), was toppled 62-53 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN)

The Eagles now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maranatha Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 10. Maple River will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 78-64 league win over Hiawatha Collegiate (Minneapolis, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was toppled by St. James (St. James, MN), 73-55, in a non-league battle.
