    The Woodland Beavers basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting La Center Wildcats to 63 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Beavers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Vancouver for a 2A Greater St. Helens contest on Tuesday, December 13. Woodland will battle a Trappers team coming off a 71-34 league loss to Columbia River (Vancouver, WA). The Trappers record now stands at 0-3.

    The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Toutle Lake (Toutle, WA). The Ducks enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Toutle Lake was defeated by Wahkiakum (Cathlamet, WA), 72-57, in a league contest.
