Mumford Mustangs (Mumford, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX), 55-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mumford upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Connally (Waco, TX) to play the Cadets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Connally won 62-60 in their recent non-league bout against Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 51-47 non-league win over Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX).
