Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lourdes Catholic Warriors (Nogales, AZ), 63-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ray upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bearcats host San Miguel (Tucson, AZ) to play the Vipers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Vipers go into the bout with a record of 1-5. San Miguel lost 80-23 in their recent league bout against Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Warriors play the San Manuel Miners (San Manuel, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Lourdes Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
