In Thursday's non-league outing, the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX), by a margin of 64-54.
The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Birdville was beaten by Midland (Midland, TX), 58-56, in a non-league outing.
