Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Torres Toros (Madera, CA) and the visiting Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA), witnessed Torres's basketball squad beat Minarets by a margin of 48-32.

The Toros (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Madera (Madera, CA). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Madera thwarted Clovis (Clovis, CA), 62-54, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Yosemite for a Northwest Sequoia test on Tuesday, December 13. Minarets will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 53-45 league loss to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 0-6.
