With the victory, Staley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Oak Park (Kansas City, MO) to play the Northmen in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Northmen come into the bout with a record of 5-0.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Rockhurst Hawklets (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Hawklets come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 34-33 league loss to Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO).
