Louisiana High School Basketball - Zachary winner over Peabody

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) basketball squad felled the visiting Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA), by a margin of 84-74.

The Broncos (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, University Lab thwarted Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA), 82-61, in a non-league outing.

The Warhorses now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Plaquemine for a non-league outing on Friday, December 9. Peabody will clash with a Green Devils squad coming off a 62-55 non-league loss to Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA). The Green Devils record now stands at 8-1.
