Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 65-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Village Christian upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders host West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 7-0. West Ranch won 72-64 in their recent league bout against Valencia (Valencia, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Seawolves (Santa Monica, CA) in a Independence bout, on Saturday, December 10. Pilibos will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Seawolves come into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 70-46 non-league win over Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) (Los Angeles, CA).
