The Washington-Marion Charging Indians (Lake Charles, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA), 62-55 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Charging Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Sharks go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Mentorship Academy got by Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA), 70-47, in a non-league test.
The Green Devils now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Peabody for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Plaquemine will encounter a Warhorses squad coming off a 84-74 non-league loss to Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Warhorses record now stands at 4-4.
