California High School Basketball - Rio Hondo Prep ripped by Thacher

The Thacher Toads basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Rio Hondo Prep Kares to 28 in the Toads non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Toads now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Villanova Prep for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Thacher will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 53-38 non-league win over Hueneme (Oxnard, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.

The Kares (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hueneme (Oxnard, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Hueneme was routed by Villanova Prep (Ojai, CA), 53-38, in a non-league contest.
