Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX), 63-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spring Woods upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Paetow (Katy, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Paetow lost 59-50 in their recent league bout against Jordan (Fulshear, TX)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Iowa Colony Pioneers (Arcola, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Royal will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 49-35 non-league win over Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX).
