California High School Basketball - Bishop Diego tops Thacher

Bishop Diego Cardinals (Santa Barbara, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Thacher Toads (Ojai, CA), 46-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Diego upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Hueneme (Oxnard, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 0-11. Hueneme lost 57-17 in their recent league bout against Nordhoff (Ojai, CA)

Next up, the Toads play the Dunn Earwigs (Los Olivos, CA) in a Frontier bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Thacher will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Earwigs come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 44-10 non-league loss to Malibu (Malibu, CA).
