With the victory, Blackwell upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-2.
